St. David's Daughters
It was a joyous occasion on Sunday, June 2, 2024, when St. David’s Daughters in Wellington, FL
admitted three new members to their DOK Chapter.
Daughters participated that day in every part of the service as Eucharist Ministers, Lectors and Choir members. It was truly a wonderful celebration for the whole parish and a festive reception was held afterward in the parish hall.

Ann Saunders Chapter St. Benedict’s Episcopal Church
On Sunday, June 2, 2024, two new Daughters, Jacqueline Lowe and Stephanie Williams were admitted into the Order of the Daughters of the King in an Admission service held at St. Benedict's Episcopal Church in Plantation, Florida.
Daughters representing several Chapters in Dade and Broward Deaneries were present, as well as the Daughters from the Ann Saunders chapter, St. Benedict's. Jennifer Chang, President of the Ann Saunders Chapter, and Deacon Debra McLaughlin presented the DOK Cross to the new Daughters. The Enrichment Chair and past president (Diocesan), Joy James Williams, was also present.

St. Margaret of Scotland Chapter
St. Joseph’s Episcopal Church
The St. Margaret of Scotland Chapter at St. Joseph’s Episcopal Church in Boynton Beach admitted two new Daughters on Sunday, May 12. The Admission Service was presided over by Fr. Marty Zlatic. In attendance were Diocesan representatives Margaret Dunstan, Joy Williams and Daughter, Betty Cay Stanford. Our two new Daughters are Susan Gottlieb and Joan Raynor.

Louise E Hindry Chapter
Holy Trinity Episcopal Church
The Installation of newly elected officers of the Louise E Hindry DOK Chapter took place at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in West Palm Beach on Sunday, June 9th, 2024, at the 9:00am Service.

The Reverend R. J. Heijmen presided over the Service of Installation as the following DOK members accepted the responsibility placed on them and agreed to devote themselves to the task that their office demands: Dawn Roog – President, Elona Henry - Vice-President,
Cathy Lewis – Treasurer and Suzanne Bates – Secretary

The outgoing Chapter President, Robin Buck received thanks and sincere appreciation for
a job well done during her term in office.
​
Several DOK members from the SEFL Diocese including Margaret Dunstan, SEFL Diocese DOK President, Barbara Harris, SEFL Diocese DOK Treasurer and Laurette Bagley, Palm Beach Deanery DOK Coordinator were in attendance to congratulate the new officers and offer their support.

A scrumptious coffee hour was provided after the service where the
DOK enjoyed additional fellowship and sisterhood.

St. Julian of Norwich Chapter
St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church
A Service of Admission was held on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church in West Palm Beach. The Reverend Paul Rasmus welcomed several DOK members from other parishes in the Palm Beach Deanery including Bethesda-by-the-Sea, St. Christopher’s, St. David’s in-the-Pines, Good Shepherd, and Holy Trinity to fellowship and celebrate the revitalization of the St. Julian of Norwich Chapter.
Nine new DOK members were admitted to the Order:
Afrika Minus, Corliene Brown, Gloria Greenidge, Hillary Nicholson, Keane Archibald-Wilkinson, Letitia Williams-Sharry, Meredith Minus, Olen W. Taylor & Pamela Hurley. Installed as Chapter President, Africa Minus, Vice President, Letitia Williams-Sharry and Chapter Secretary, Corliene Brown. The Venerable Hal Hurley, Archdeacon for African Descent Ministries was installed as the Chapter Chaplain.
In attendance were members of the Executive Committee; Current SEFL Diocese DOK President Margaret Dunstan, Two Former Diocesan DOK Presidents, Ruth Foss and Joy James Williams, SEFL DOK Vice President, Avonelle Forbes, Idalia Adams, Communications Chair, Deanery Coordinators, Laurette Bagley, and Malvern Mathis who also serves as Province IV Daughters-at-Large Chair.
A reception followed in the parish hall.

Gwen Wilson Chapter St. Kevin’s Episcopal Church
After the three-month study period that began in February, on Sunday, June 2, 2024, The Reverend Dr. Simeon Newbold, admitted five new Daughters as members of the Gwen Wilson Chapter. In addition, two Co-Presidents were installed, and one Daughter was reinstated. To God be the Glory!!!

Newly admitted Daughters joined by Margaret Dunstan, SEFL Diocesan Assembly President, Dr. Helen Bhagwandin, National Daughter at Large Chair, Ruth Foss, Province IV First Vice President/President-Elect, Malvern Mathis, Dade Deanery Coordinator, Province IV Daughter at Large Chair.

Dade Deanery
We have done some exciting things in the Deanery throughout this fiscal year and a debt of gratitude is owed to the Daughters for supporting and making them possible. Heartfelt appreciation and thanks are also owed to clergy in our Deanery for their support and presentations throughout the year: The Reverend Horace Ward, The Reverend Roberta Knowles, The Reverend Jonathan Archer, and The Reverend Terrence Taylor.

Our last meeting for this fiscal year was wonderful and a great way to end the year.
The meeting was held at The Church of the Transfiguration.
